Obviously, this is a really responsible job and my friend`s husband is suitably high powered for such a position. I know that he must be doing very well in his job as they are always taking fantastic holidays on his salary alone as my friend does not work as she has three young children at home. Although my friend`s husband is the one with the responsibility for paying for all of the bills in the house he never makes my friend feel guilty or less equual to him and I really respect him for that. I have seen so many marriages break down because the higher earning partner cannot help but feel resentful towards the person with the lesser salary. I just hope my husband would be the same if we were in their position.
